  I haven't eaten here for years and for good reason. My family used to love eating here, we'd pick up chicken and rice for everyone once or twice a month since it was easy and tasted great. Fast forward to our last trip, I was eating dinner with my wife and grandparents and picked up a grain of white rice from the container and joked "Eww, a maggot! Everybody check your rice!" Which was funny until that grain of rice started itching its way across my fork, I had found an actual maggot in my rice. I was immediately sick, my family was disgusted, and we threw out the food and placed the maggot in one of the empty salad dressing cups before driving to the restaurant. We asked for a refund and when they said they refused we showed then the maggot in the cup and they quickly changed their tune and tried to take it from my grandfather's hands before anyone saw what it was. When we wouldn't give it to them they quickly returned our money and told us that we were banned from coming back and that if we didn't leave the store that they would be calling the police for harassment, the manager was on the phone before we got out the door. Even if we weren't barred from returning I would never risk my family's health and safety by eating here again.

  Ordered here for a quick bite to eat. After a really pretty long wait, the waitress brought out spring rolls before our meal was ready. She murmured “these are warm” without any eye contact and it didn’t really even register until I took a bite. They were straight out of boiling hot grease. My mouth burn instantly peeled, and now two weeks it later it won’t heal. I am looking at needing to have a small area of my mouth skin grafted because of the deep nature of the burn. I have never experienced anything like this. I can’t imagine serving something straight out of the grease and then not emphasizing the danger of how hot it truly was. Ive burned my mouth before (as I’m sure we all have) but never anything this crazy severe. I guess I’m thankful I stopped my young daughter before she was injured also.

  Stopped in because I was very hungry while in Stanwood. Lots of chicken and a large portion of rice, good salad too. For a $6.99 lunch special Miyako's cant be beat. Good service and the prices are very reasonable and a nice selectionof other Asian foods too. They are 3 miles west of interstate 5.

  I like to come here. I am on the keto diet and I am able to stay when I eat here. The staff is so friendly. I have a child with bad allergies so we take his food when we eat out and they are not bothered at all they will bring him a plate so he feels the same. The food is fresh and they only put small amounts out at a time to keep it cold and fresh. Oh has really changed in the last 6 year's. It wasn't good then but now it's so much better.
